About Tender Shoots Wellness
A little green goes a long way. Tender Shoots wellness strives to empower clients to live happy and fulfilling lives by making lifestyle changes that are better for them and for the planet.
In the Kitchen
Helping people develop an authentic relationship with food is one of our core principals. To that end we strive to educate, and empower clients to make conscientious choices about what they eat. We weave our principals into cooking classes, chef services, and meal planning. Focusing on preparing fresh locally grown, seasonal, organic, foodstuffs and it transforming into a balanced meal- that is green cuisine. Inspired by the cultural pastiche that brews in New York City, you’ll find tastes that imbue spices and herbs from around the world, flavors ancient and new. Food that echoes tradition and connects us with the present, feeding our spirits. Delicious menus crafted from farm fresh produce, celebrating the natural bounty of the earth.
On The Mat
Tender Shoots Wellness is dedicated to bringing a high quality yoga practice to students. We ensure a safe and comfortable space where students challenge their limits and deepen their practice both on and off the mat. Classes are alignment based, incorporate music, aromatherapy, chanting, pranayama. Hands-on adjustments help students to bring physical awareness to the subtleties of alignment. The arc of the class builds in intensity so that by the end, when you reach relaxation, your body can completely surrender and melt away all the tension and stress you build up during your daily activities.

We develop workshops and classes for special populations to better serve these communities and to bring awareness to the issues these populations are facing.
